The messaging bean services provide easily configurable features to add seamless message transformation, security and data compression to interprocess communications. These facilities are particularly useful on systems that use XML format data in interprocess communication in so much that XML messages can be quite verbose and there is an obvious security issue with the fact that the data is human readable.

The logging utilities provide facilities to enable developers to debug their solutions during both the development phase and following successful deployment on the target system. The level of debug information available is fully configurable even on a live system.
